Senior Frontend Developer (m/w/d)

Tasks

• You work in our software development team at the locations Munich, Nuremberg or remote.
• You take on tasks primarily in the frontend area.
• You are responsible for selecting and developing UI components.
• You ensure the connection of provided interfaces (REST-APIs).
• You implement (Unit) tests and document your adaptations, besides UI development (Angular).
• You work closely with the BE, UX, and DevOps teams.
• You support the teams, e.g., with code review and Pair/Mob Programming.
• You coach your colleagues actively with methodological knowledge, experiences, and insights.
• You take responsibility and drive initiatives forward.

Qualification

• You bring a vocational training or academic degree with (interdisciplinary professional background is welcome).
• You have several years of experience in software development, ideally as a senior developer.
• You are happy to take responsibility for the entire development process, including quality assurance and deployment, with a focus on frontend.
• You have a feeling for the appearance and usability of applications and feel comfortable handling HTML templates and CSS, including Flexbox, CSS-Grid, Web animations.
• You work independently, self-responsibly, and solution-oriented.
• You are communicative and think holistically and solution-oriented.
• You bring a strong team orientation and customer orientation with you.
• You have good German language skills and very good English language skills.
• You enjoy new technological trends, methods, and tools and share your knowledge gladly with your team.

Your frontend stack:

• Programming languages: TypeScript / JavaScript
• SPA frameworks: Angular
• Other tools: Styling with SCSS, bundling with Webpack / Rollup
• DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins
• Testing: Jest, E2E (Cypress, Webdriver)
• FE-BE communication: REST
