As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you are not just busy writing good code. You will think about how we can technically and functionally implement our front-end well and provide direction on choices regarding architecture, components, state management, and API integrations. You will work closely with other engineers, product specialists, UX, security, and architecture.

You will always keep an eye on the user and on the reliability and security of the service. This way, you ensure that users can understand where an answer comes from, when information is missing, and when an answer is not reliable enough.

Specifically, you will, among other things:

• Build and improve: Develop high-quality, maintainable front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Provide technical direction: Contribute to and think about front-end architecture, components, state management, and API integrations.
• Develop reusable solutions: Build components and interaction patterns that can be used within different parts of Eagle and are well-documented.
• Ensure accessibility and security: Ensure that the applications meet accessibility and security requirements and work well for different users and situations.
• Make reliable information insightful: Present sources, evidence, authorization, and any missing substantiation in an understandable way.
• Demonstrate quality: Perform and implement automated tests for performance, accessibility, and privacy-conscious observability.
• Collaborate and share knowledge: Conduct code and design reviews, substantiate technical choices, and coach colleagues in their development.
• Support releases: Contribute to the controlled go-live of complex applications, coordinating dependencies and using feature flags where necessary.

Job Requirements

You have demonstrable HBO or WO work and thinking level, developed through education, work experience, or a combination thereof. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the core below.

• Senior experience with front-end development: with complex production applications in TypeScript and a mature component framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Architectural skill: in component libraries or design systems, state and error modeling, and contract-based API integration.
• Demonstrable accessibility knowledge: for dynamic web applications, including keyboard, focus, screen readers, zoom, and contrast.
• Quality and security awareness: for asynchronous or streaming interfaces, automated testing, secure rendering, and privacy-conscious client telemetry.
• Technical leadership: you substantiate choices, discuss risks early, and help colleagues improve without taking over everything.
