General Position Description
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Supervisor
The Challenge
We are looking for an FP&A Supervisor who wants to go beyond traditional report preparation and become a true Finance Business Partner for the organization.
This position will play a key role in the evolution of FP&A towards a more analytical, agile, automated, and value-generating model, connecting financial results with operations, strategy, profitability, and cash generation.
Your mission will be to transform data into actionable information that allows understanding:
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the annual budget, forecast, and mid-term planning processes.
- Analyze actual results versus Budget, Forecast, and prior year, identifying variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop analyses of profitability, margins, expenses, working capital, and cash generation.
- Build scenarios and sensitivity analyses that allow anticipating possible outcomes and improving decision-making.
- Work as a Finance Business Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other areas, contributing financial perspective to commercial and operational decisions.
- Develop business cases and evaluate initiatives related to growth, pricing, investments, efficiencies, and resource allocation.
- Prepare executive reports and presentations, transforming complex information into clear messages and actionable recommendations.
- Drive the simplification, standardization, and automation of processes within FP&A.
- Create and evolve dashboards and analytical solutions in Power BI.
- Promote reliable, consistent, and traceable financial information, working with different areas to strengthen data quality.
- Analyze sales trends, inventory, purchases, channels, discounts, and commercial performance.
- Contribute to the development of new methodologies, tools, and ways of working within FP&A.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Commercial Finance, Business Finance, or similar positions.
- Solid financial analysis skills, interpretation of financial statements, and variance analysis.
- Experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, scenario analysis, and Management Reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
- Power BI required or highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SQL, automation, analytics, data architecture, and/or think-cell will be valued.
- Advanced English, with the ability to perform in an international corporate environment.
