Senior Flowable Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Flowable Engage Developer with a strong hands-on Java background to design, develop, and scale conversational engagement platforms within a banking environment. This role will focus on building secure, real-time, customer-facing and internal chat-driven workflows that power digital banking channels, relationship manager platforms, and operational servicing use cases. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop chat-driven engagement solutions using Flowable Engage. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, business analysts, architects, and other developers) to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. * Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback. * Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a production environment. * Optimize application performance and scalability. * Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Flowable and related technologies. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices. * Lead and mentor junior developers. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * 7+ years of experience in software development. * 5+ years of experience with Java and related technologies (Spring, Spring Boot, etc.). * 3+ years of experience with Flowable Engage or similar BPMN platforms. * Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs. * Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). * Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). * Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). * Experience with Agile development methodologies. * Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus. * Flowable Certification is a plus.
