Senior Flagperson/Trainer

Are you interested in training other Flaggers/Traffic Controllers to do their job safely and professionally? We are currently seeking experienced Trainers for Flaggers/Traffic Controllers for the upcoming busy season! You will play a crucial role in educating the importance of safely directing the movement of traffic, setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, and ensuring compliance with all relevant protocols. Responsibilities : Instruct how to direct and control the flow of vehicle traffic, including pedestrian and cyclist traffic, in accordance with established guidelines and protocols. Provide guidance on the proper use of traffic control devices, such as flags, cones, and signs, to ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic. Develop and deliver training programs for Flaggers/Traffic Controllers, including classroom instruction and on-the-job training, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively. Collaborate with other trainers and training staff to develop and implement training programs and materials. Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of trainees to ensure they are meeting the required standards and competencies. Provide ongoing support and coaching to trainees to help them improve their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to training and development. Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, participation, and performance. Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
