Senior Financial Accountant (m/w/d) Düsseldorf

Shape the accounting of tomorrow: cloud-based, AI-supported, paperless. You will advise clients with modern tools, lead digital financial accounting independently including HGB monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, steer projects end-to-end, and optimize accounting processes.

If you bring experience from a tax office, have already participated in annual statements, and are familiar with digital workflows in accounting. If you also want to bring your own clients or network actively into our customer base, you fit perfectly with us.

Your Chance to Shape the Future - Your Tasks:

• Advise our clients with the help of modern technologies
• Take over independent digital financial accounting
• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual statements according to HGB and financial accounting guidelines
• Conduct account reconciliations, prepare payment processing, and create value-added tax returns
• Analyze and continuously optimize the accounting processes of our clients through the use of digital tools
• Design and use digital workflows (e.g. document flows, approval processes, document management), to make processes more efficient and transparent
• Bring – if possible – your existing client network with you and support us in expanding our customer portfolio

You Bring:

• Completed commercial training or a comparable, successfully completed study
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting
• Ideal experience from a tax office or law firm
• Experience in financial accounting and/or participation in annual statements
• In-depth knowledge of HGB and financial accounting
• Pasión for digital innovations in the field of accounting
• Experience in handling digital workflows (e.g. digital document processing, workflow tools, electronic approval processes)
• A high degree of accuracy and a good sense of numbers
• Safe handling of Microsoft M365 and DATEV
• Experience with Business Central, Oracle, or industry-specific ERP systems is advantageous
• Advantageous: your own client network or clients you can bring with you
