For our team, we are looking for an experienced financial accountant who will independently manage fixed mandates. You will ensure that the ongoing accounting of our clients runs smoothly and on time, and you will support junior colleagues with your experience.

Your Tasks

• Independent management of ongoing financial accounting for freelancers, sole proprietors, and corporations, ideally also for partnerships

• Preparation of monthly financial statements and VAT pre-declarations

• Preparation of annual financial statements in close cooperation with the tax advisor

• Review and quality assurance of the accounting for your mandates

• Contact person for clients on accounting matters

• Technical guidance and support for junior colleagues

• Active participation in shaping our AI-supported accounting processes: You contribute the practical experience with which we develop our systems

Goal of the role: Reliability in daily business

The focus of the role is the clean, timely processing of ongoing accounting for our mandates. You bring routine and security to the daily work routine, so that the team can rely on a stable accounting basis.

Our AI-supported systems take over routine tasks for you. This leaves time for the technically demanding parts of your work.

What you bring

• Completed training as a tax assistant, preferably with further training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter:in)

• At least 4 years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a law firm environment

• Proficient use of DATEV: You have worked with it independently and know the essential accounts of SKR03 or SKR04

• Independent, meticulous, and structured way of working, even with a high volume of mandates

• Proactive communication: You don't have to know everything, but you notice when something is wrong and look up the law or ask for clarification early

• Experience in providing technical guidance to colleagues is desirable; disciplinary leadership is not part of the role

• Enthusiasm for digital solutions and AI, as well as a desire to help shape the accounting of tomorrow
