Aufgaben

As Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for, among other things:

• Responsibility for the Buchhaltungsprozesse – Debitoren-, Kreditoren- & Anlagenbuchhaltung
• Sole responsibility for preparing and coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and possibly IFRS
• Prozesse & Digitalisierung are your strength: You develop existing processes further, drive automation initiatives forward, and optimize the use of paperless accounting.
• As a contact person for external service providers, you will be in continuous exchange with tax consultants, auditors, and authorities
• Support in budget planning, financial forecasts, and strategic corporate decisions

Qualifikation

• Fluent German and English skills in word and writing
• Min. 3 years of experience in financial accounting
• Completed commercial education/study with a focus on balance sheet accounting/finance/taxation/economics
• Fundamental knowledge of debitors, creditors, and fixed assets accounting
• Comprehensive knowledge of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB – ideally also IFRS
• Experience in working with common accounting systems
• Hands-on mentality and outstanding team spirit distinguish you
• Readiness to come to the office in Wetzlar if needed
