(Senior) Financial Controller (m/f/d)

Your Role

Do you want to actively shape the financial management of a growing company, working closely with Accounting and Management?
As a Senior Financial Controller (m/f/d), you will take on a key role in our finance organization. You will be responsible for forecasts, budget planning, and cash flow analyses, further develop our reporting, and support strategic decisions with well-founded analyses. In doing so, you will combine finance expertise with a strong understanding of processes, numbers, and corporate governance.

Your Tasks

• Involvement in monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
• Preparation of forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses
• Finance Business Partner for Accounting and other internal stakeholders
• Preparation and monitoring of cash flow planning
• Analysis of planned-actual deviations and derivation of recommended actions
• Further development of reporting, calculations, and financial key figures
• Optimization of controlling processes and support in the expansion of our BI landscape
• Ensuring data quality and further development of relevant finance systems and interfaces

Your Profile

• Successfully completed university degree with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Accounting, or a comparable commercial apprenticeship
• Several years of professional experience in Financial Controlling
• Well-founded knowledge of accounting, especially according to HGB
• Very good Excel skills and experience with ERP and BI systems
• Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
• Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey financial matters understandably
• German at C1/C2 level and English at least at B2 level
