We are looking for you for the finance department of a leading social enterprise in Essen. The company operates social institutions throughout Germany, where young people, homeless individuals or refugees are cared for.

As (Senior) Financial Controller (m/w/d), you bring your experience into the company and are an important link between finance and management.

You take responsibility for planning and reporting and recognize opportunities and risks early on – here you're not just an analyst, but also a shaper with direct influence on strategy and business development!

Tasks

• You advise the management on financial decisions and create transparency in achieving goals
• You develop and optimize pricing and cost structures
• You are responsible for budget planning, forecasts, cash reporting, and annual controlling
• You monitor sales realization, settlements, and claims
• You build business relationships and foster cooperative cooperation

Qualification

• A completed degree in business administration, for example in BWL, VWL or accounting
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in an international service company
• Experience in working with senior management and in the contract and offer environment
• Very good knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Entrepreneurial thinking, integrity, and team spirit characterize you
• Very good German and English skills characterize you
