Senior Financial Analyst (m/w/d)

Finance & Operations Controlling with a focus on Production, Performance, and Business Partnering.

We are currently seeking reinforcement in the area of Finance Controlling for an international industrial company. In this role, you will work closely with Production and Management and take responsibility for topics such as Cost Accounting, Forecasting, Reporting, and Production Controlling.

Aufgaben

• Responsible for the creation and transmission of annual standard costs in close cooperation with Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Responsible for maintaining the model for calculating standard costs and conducting relevant analyses.
• Self-coordinated coordination of deadlines and compliance with predetermined deadlines.
• Monthly analysis of volume changes and presentation of results.
• Monthly performance of deviation analyses, particularly PPV (Purchase Price Variance), Overhead Costs, and Standard Cost of Production.
• Responsible for monthly reporting of Other Manufacturing Costs (Absorption, PPV, Material Usage) and SCOP to the Headquarter in the USA.
• Self-performed forecasting.
• Self-monitored material cost deviations (MOV) and purchase price deviations (PPV), identification of causes, and derivation of measures.
• Collaboration with the Procurement and Supply Chain departments to ensure transparency and accuracy of costs.
• Support at monthly and quarterly closings through detailed deviation analyses and commentary.
• Development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards to illustrate developments and trends, as well as representation of volume changes.
• Proactive collaboration with stakeholders to analyze trends and anomalies in the results.

Qualifikation

• University degree, preferably in a business or finance-related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in an international environment.
• Detailed accuracy (in data consolidation, reporting, analyses, trend analyses).
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Very good MS-Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Very good Power BI skills.
• Very good German language skills and very good English language skills.
• Very good analytical and communicative skills are expected.
