The Role
We’re seeking a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Knoxfield, VIC. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll lead financial reporting, compliance, and forecasting while managing the AP/AR team. This role blends hands-on accounting with strategic influence across sales, operations, and business performance.

The Role
We’re seeking a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Knoxfield, VIC. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll lead financial reporting, compliance, and forecasting while managing the AP/AR team. This role blends hands-on accounting with strategic influence across sales, operations, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close, accruals, and reporting
- Deliver monthly financial reports and CEO packs
- Lead AP/AR and payroll accounting
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
- Handle BAS, FBT, and payroll tax compliance
- Conduct stock takes, inventory valuation, and reconciliations
- Provide variance analysis, margin reporting, and insights
- Partner on business planning, efficiencies, and projects
- Support audits, statutory reporting, and compliance
- CA or CPA qualification + Bachelor’s in Accounting/Commerce
- 5+ years’ experience, including 3+ years post-qualification
- Exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting
- Strong financial management and commercial skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, work in teams, and juggle priorities
- Strong communication, able to engage openly across all levels
- Comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and change
- Motivated, achievement-focused, and hands-on
- Collaborative, supportive leadership
- Stable and growing business
- Mix of strategic projects and day-to-day ownership
