Senior Financial Accountant

Our client is a leading privately-owned organisation with an established presence across Australia and New Zealand is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant on a temporary basis (with potential to go permanent). The main responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to the following: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards; Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and systems; Provide timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders; Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements; Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements; Analyse and interpret financial data to inform business decisions; Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities; Ensure the maintenance of a high level of internal control and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
