Aufgaben

Job Description:

We are looking for an analytically and entrepreneurially thinking Senior Finance & Project Controller for our team in Hamburg. In this key role, you will serve as a link between finance and operations and ensure complete financial transparency for our complex underwater projects. You will work directly with our COO and cross-functional teams to increase profitability and process excellence.

Your Tasks:

• Project Financing and Cost Control: Ensure complete financial transparency for all underwater projects by managing a comprehensive reporting system, monitoring project costs (CAPEX/OPEX), and ensuring strict adherence to the budget.
• Operative Controlling: You will work closely with the COO to align detailed reporting with financial goals.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: You will lead the annual budgeting process and regular financial forecasting.
• Process Optimization and Accounting: Monitor workflows in accounting and promote continuous improvement of financial processes.

Qualification

Your Profile:

• Experience: You possess a comprehensive professional background and proven successes in this or a similar position, particularly in the industrial environment where you have tracked CAPEX/OPEX for assets.
• Communication: You speak fluent English, good German skills are an advantage.
• Technical Skills: You possess expert knowledge in Excel and a solid understanding of international accounting standards. You have advanced knowledge in financial modeling and are able to manage integrated cash flow models.
• Taxation: Funded experience in handling value-added tax coordination and knowledge of international accounting standards.
• Mindset: You are an entrepreneurially thinking person who shows a high level of self-initiative, reliability, and analytical precision.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work independently and simultaneously across departments (Engineering, Tax, Procurement, and Operations).
