As the Senior Finance Officer, you will apply financial accounting principles and practices to prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders. You will also provide high-level financial analysis and advice to support decision-making across the department. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining financial reports and dashboards for senior management and other stakeholders; • Providing high-level financial analysis and advice to support business planning and decision-making; • Collaborating with finance teams across the department to develop and implement financial processes and procedures; • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and systems; • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs; • Providing training and guidance to other staff members on financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting. You will also need to be an Australian citizen or hold permanent residency status.
