(Senior) Finance Manager (m/f/d) - Fixed Term for 1 Year (Option for Extension)

Your contribution: You will ensure that our finance department is reliable, efficient, and future-oriented. With your eye for numbers, processes, and interrelationships, you will create transparency for informed business decisions, optimize our financial and controlling processes, and be a reliable point of contact for internal teams as well as external partners. You will therefore play a central role in our finance team and ensure the smooth running of all finance-related processes.

Your Tasks:

• You will be responsible for our corporate controlling and will prepare annual planning, forecasts, budgets, as well as regular reports for management and the executive board.

• You will analyze relevant financial key figures, keep an eye on our liquidity, cost structures, and profitability, and derive well-founded recommendations for action from them.

• You will coordinate our financial processes – from invoice management and the checking of incoming invoices to collaboration with our accounting and tax advisors for monthly and annual financial statements.

• You will take responsibility for our invoice management tool (Candis) and continuously develop our finance systems and processes.

• You will identify optimization potential and actively drive the digitalization and scalability of our financial processes.

• You will be the central point of contact for finance-related issues within the company and will work closely with the executive board, the HR team, and other departments.

• You will coordinate collaboration with external partners, e.g., our tax advisors and banks.

• You will manage your tasks independently, prioritize confidently, and ensure high quality and on-time execution.

What You Should Bring:

• Completed degree in Finance, Controlling, or a comparable qualification

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Finance, Controlling, or Financial Planning & Analysis

• Experience in corporate controlling as well as in preparing forecasts and reports

• Must-have: Experience with digital finance tools (e.g., Candis or comparable solutions)

• Proficient in Excel; DATEV Unternehmen Online and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Asana)

• Experience with Shopify is an advantage

• An impeccable understanding of numbers as well as an analytical and structured way of working

• Experience in optimizing and digitalizing finance processes

• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to work

• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with various internal and external contacts

• Very good German language skills (at least C1)
