Responsibilities

• Management and continuous optimization of finance and accounting processes

• Further development and efficient use of existing ERP and financial systems

• Line management and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team

• Coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

• Support of annual audits

• Central point of contact between internal departments, finance departments, and external partners

• Optimization and automation of financial processes and participation in transformation projects

Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on accounting/finance

• Several years of professional experience (at least 5-7 years) in accounting

• Proficient user skills in common MS Office programs, especially Excel, as well as general IT affinity and willingness for digital development

• SAP knowledge is an advantage

• Analytical and structured approach to work with a high affinity for numbers and problem-solving skills

• Proactive, responsible, and a reliable, meticulous work ethic

• Fluent German and very good English skills
