Senior Expert (m/f/d) - Logistics Management Systems

These tasks await you:

WMS Implementation & System Integration: You will support the implementation and further development of Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP EWM, Blue Yonder (JDA), or comparable solutions and ensure seamless integration between WMS and WCS systems.

Logistics Process Analysis: You will holistically analyze existing processes in distribution and warehouse operations, identify optimization potential, and develop sustainable digital solutions for modern warehouse environments.

Automation & Digitalization: In highly automated logistics centers, you will work with technologies such as AS/RS, shuttle systems, sorters, and AMR/AGV solutions and support their successful integration into the system landscape.

Project Work & Customer Consulting: In national and international projects, you will support clients in the conception, selection, and implementation of WMS solutions and accompany transformation projects throughout the entire project duration.

Interface Management: You will work closely with clients, IT teams, automation providers, and stakeholders from logistics and operations, ensuring structured communication.

Service & Method Development: Together with the team, you will further develop best practices, methods, and standardized approaches for WMS and WCS projects and support the expansion of the service portfolio.

Presales & Market Development: You will actively contribute to offer development and presales activities and support the positioning of warehouse IT and automation competencies in the market.

Knowledge Exchange & Competence Building: Through close collaboration with internal experts, you will contribute to knowledge exchange and the development and advancement of digital logistics competencies within the organization.

What you bring with you:

• Professional Experience & WMS Know-how: You have at least 5-6 years of professional experience in Warehouse Management Systems, ideally in consulting or in an industrial company with complex logistics structures.

• System Expertise: You have in-depth knowledge of leading WMS solutions such as SAP EWM, Blue Yonder (JDA), or comparable international Warehouse Management Systems.

• Automation Competence: You have experience in highly automated logistics centers and are familiar with technologies such as AS/RS, shuttle systems, sorters, and AMR/AGV environments from practical experience.

• Project & Transformation Experience: You have already accompanied WMS implementation or transformation projects and are familiar with the challenges of modern warehouse IT projects.

• Logistics Understanding: You have sound knowledge of logistics processes in distribution and warehouse operations and understand the interrelationships between IT, automation, and operational processes.

• Customer & Stakeholder Management: You work confidently with clients, IT teams, business units, and automation partners, impressing with a professional demeanor at all stakeholder levels.

• Analytical & Structured Working Method: You approach complex tasks in a structured and solution-oriented manner and maintain an overview even in international project environments.

• Service & Team Orientation: You actively contribute to the further development of methods, best practices, and services in the area of Warehouse IT and enjoy sharing your knowledge within the team.

• Communication Skills: You communicate confidently and professionally with internal and external contacts and can convey complex technical content understandably.

• Language Skills: You have very good written and spoken German and English skills for working in international projects.
