We want to strengthen our expansion team for the Southern Region around Munich.

Mobility is undergoing fundamental change. Electric vehicles are becoming commonplace, new technologies are developing rapidly, and the demand for powerful charging infrastructure is growing. Fastned, as a company for ultra-fast charging, is actively shaping this development.

As a pioneer in the field of fast charging infrastructure, we have set ourselves the goal of building a Europe-wide network of over 1,000 fast charging stations by 2030.

To achieve this, more than 500 colleagues from over 50 nations work together in ten countries. At Fastned, you'll meet people from a wide range of disciplines and cultures united by a common mission: we want to accelerate the mobility transition and make electromobility accessible to everyone.

A job at the interface of real estate, innovative technology, and sustainability

As a Senior Expansion Manager, you will help decide where the next generation of our fast charging stations will be built. You will identify attractive locations in your region, approach owners, project developers, companies, and municipalities, and develop long-term partnerships from these interactions.

You will work in an innovative and rapidly growing industry where the market, technology, and legal frameworks are continuously evolving. You will combine your real estate and negotiation skills with a concrete contribution to sustainable mobility.

Your work has visible results: your analyses, conversations, and negotiations lead to new fast charging stations that are used daily by people across Germany and Europe.

You will take responsibility for your projects while working closely with our architecture, legal, construction, and operations teams. Together, you will develop solutions, share knowledge, and bring new ideas to fruition.

Furthermore, we want to build a small team in your region, which offers you the opportunity to take responsibility for junior team members.

What you bring

• You have at least 6 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in commercial real estate, site acquisition, or project development.

• You have practical experience in acquiring sites or properties and in building relationships with owners, project developers, companies, or municipalities.

• You are experienced in preparing and conducting negotiations, ideally in connection with lease, rental, or purchase agreements.

• You have a fundamental understanding of how real estate and locations are valued. This includes, for example, location, visibility, accessibility, transport links, economic attractiveness, and general feasibility.

• You can analyze relevant information in a structured way and derive a well-founded assessment or recommendation. Experience with mapping, CRM, or analytics tools is an advantage.

• You approach people openly, communicate confidently, and enjoy working with various internal and external partners.

• You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and actively drive your projects forward.

• You have very good German and good English language skills.

• You are willing to visit the German team in Cologne once a month, travel regularly within Germany, and also look forward to occasional visits to our headquarters in Amsterdam.

You don't need to be an expert in electromobility or technical real estate valuation. What's important is that you have relevant experience in site acquisition, understand economic and practical contexts, and are eager to learn about new topics.
