About the Project

At B2B Network, we are looking for an experienced Senior ETL / Snowflake Engineer (M/F) to join a project implemented in an international banking environment.

The project focuses on developing scalable data solutions supporting Balance Sheet Stress Testing, Risk Management, and Regulatory Reporting processes.

We are looking for someone who combines technical competencies in Data Engineering with the ability to analyze business and financial requirements in the banking sector.

Location: Warsaw, Gdynia, Gdansk (preferred), Lodz

Work mode: Hybrid – 3 days a week from the office

Form of cooperation: B2B or employment contract

Your Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing solutions in Snowflake.
• Analyzing and interpreting business and financial requirements in the banking sector.
• Modeling, transforming, and aggregating data for financial and regulatory processes.
• Collaborating with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• Ensuring data quality, consistency, and reconciliation.
• Managing data lineage and flow.
• Optimizing the performance of data processing and data platform processes.

Our Requirements

• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses in Snowflake.
• Practical experience in building and optimizing ETL/ELT processes.
• Very good knowledge of SQL, including data processing, transformation, and modeling.
• Experience in analyzing business and financial requirements in the banking sector.
• Knowledge of processes related to stress testing, risk management, regulatory reporting, liquidity, or capital adequacy.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Balance Sheet Management and Stress Testing.
• Experience in Treasury, Liquidity Management, Risk Management areas.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting and Capital Adequacy processes.
• Knowledge of EBA, ECB, Basel banking regulations.
• Knowledge of ICAAP and ILAAP.
