Senior Environmental Advisor

Job Description The Senior Environmental Advisor plays a critical leadership role in advancing environmental compliance and performance across the Recycling and Kenny U-Pull divisions. Reporting to the Director of Environment and supported by the Environmental Advisor, this role serves as the subject matter expert on regulatory compliance, ensuring that environmental requirements are integrated, understood, and consistently applied across all operational levels. This position requires occasional travel to various facilities and may involve working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations and policies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Senior Environmental Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental policies and procedures, conducting environmental audits and assessments, and providing training and guidance to employees on environmental compliance. This role will also involve collaborating with other departments to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into business operations and decision-making processes. The Senior Environmental Advisor will be expected to stay up-to-date with changing environmental regulations and policies, and to provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on environmental matters. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, auditing, or a related field. A Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field is preferred. The Senior Environmental Advisor will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
