Senior Engineering Manager(SMT & Backend Equipment)

Role Purpose To lead Process Engineering and Equipment Maintenance across SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and FATP (Final Assembly, Test & Pack) operations. The role focuses on ensuring process adherence, equipment reliability, high productivity, and continuous improvement in a high-volume EMS manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities 1. SMT Process Engineering Define, implement, and optimize SMT processes (solder paste printing, pick & place, reflow, AOI) Drive first-pass yield improvements through process control, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Implement and maintain process documentation, training programs, and quality procedures for SMT operations Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. 2. Backend Equipment Maintenance Develop and implement equipment maintenance strategies to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of backend equipment (e.g., reflow ovens, AOI machines) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce costs. Key Requirements 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 2. Minimum 5 years' experience in Process Engineering, Equipment Maintenance, or a related field 3. Strong understanding of SMT processes, equipment, and manufacturing principles 4. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills 5.
