Do you feel addressed and want to make the world safer together with us? Our team is constantly growing and we are looking for you as a Senior Engineer (m/f/d) for Proxmox platforms at one of our locations to best advise and support our customers together.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
- Setup, further development, and operation of our future virtualization platform based on Proxmox VE
- Planning and execution of migration projects as part of the strategic replacement of existing VMware environments
- Integration and further development of storage, network, and SDN components to ensure a high-performance and highly available infrastructure
- Creation of operational, architectural, and migration concepts, as well as support in technology and architecture decisions
- Automation and optimization of operational processes, as well as ensuring stable platform operation
HOW YOU WILL INSPIRE US
- Successfully completed training in the IT environment, a degree in computer science, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in the operation and further development of virtualization platforms, as well as practical experience with Proxmox VE
- Very good Linux knowledge, as well as sound know-how in the areas of enterprise storage, network architectures, and SDN technologies
- Experience in infrastructure transformation and migration projects, as well as a strong architectural understanding
- High degree of personal responsibility, as well as readiness for on-call duty or planned 24/7 maintenance work
- Good German and English skills
