Senior Engineer or Engineer in Telecommunications - External Networks / FTTH - Hybrid

CIMA+ is seeking a senior engineer in telecommunications to join its team specializing in active and passive infrastructure networks (external networks, FTTH). You will play a strategic role in planning, designing, and coordinating telecommunications projects. As a technical reference and project manager, you will actively contribute to the evolution of digital infrastructures while ensuring technical quality and performance of proposed solutions. This position is for a professional with a solid understanding of telecommunications networks, combined with proven experience in managing multidisciplinary projects, all within a structured and collaborative framework. The work is done in hybrid mode, with a flexible office location among our sites in Quebec.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure technical design and production of plans and estimates for telecommunications projects, primarily in infrastructure architecture and external networks (fiber optic, FTTH, backbone)

• Supervise engineering deliverables in collaboration with internal teams (engineers, technicians, draftsmen)

• Participate in the development of tender documents and analysis of proposals

• Contribute to strategic planning and project management: coordination of stakeholders, respect of budgets and deadlines

• Write technical reports and analyses, and participate in the development of innovative technological solutions

• Mentor and support technical resources in their professional development

• Actively collaborate with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective communication
