(Senior) Energy Project Manager (m/w/d) - Decentralized Energy Supply

At VREY, we're building the Energy OS for multi-family homes.

Why? In over 3 million MFHs in Germany, there are almost no PV systems – current penetration: 0.2%. We're changing that: With the "Community Building Supply" (CBS), made possible by the Solar Package 1, we're creating the economic and legal conditions for PV & storage, as well as heat pump & electric vehicle in multi-family homes to finally become a reality.

Our goal: Making multi-family homes central building blocks of decentralized energy transition using smart software.

Aufgaben

At VREY, we're building the Energy OS for multi-family homes – and making decentralized energy supply finally scalable. Our focus: PV, heat pumps, intelligent measurement systems, and community building supply (CBS).

This sets us up to implement the energy transition where a significant part of people live: in multi-family homes.

Join the Energy Operations Team, currently being built by Cedric (Co-Founder & COO), and drive the implementation of CBS projects in German multi-family homes. You ensure that concepts become real energy flows – reliable, data-driven, and compliant with laws.

We're growing quickly and are looking for people who want to take on responsibility, have a sense of ownership, and enjoy making a new energy infrastructure in German cities a reality.

Implementing decentralized energy supply in multi-family homes

• Planning, coordination, and operational implementation of CBS projects with PV, heat pumps, and intelligent measurement systems in multi-family homes
• Closely working with installation partners, owners, and network operators to ensure a smooth project workflow

Smart Meter Rollout and Measurement Concepts

• Organizing and steering the rollout of intelligent measurement systems for our projects
• Responsibility for correctly representing measurement concepts in our Energy OS
• Ensuring that all energy flows are accurately measured, balanced, and accounted for

Data, Automation, and Analysis

• Creating reports and analyses as well as deriving effective measures
• Built data-driven solutions for process automation and scaling our operations

Qualification

• 2+ years of professional experience
• Degree in economics, engineering, renewable energy, or a related field – with a strong interest in energy-related issues
• You think entrepreneurially, work independently, and have a good sense of priorities
• You have a high interest in real estate, energy, and startups – prior experience is a plus, but not necessary
• You're looking for a job that's not 9-to-5, but wants to shape the future in a high-paced, founder-like environment
• You're comfortable with common office programs and can quickly learn new software – knowledge of CRM software and data analysis tools is also an advantage
• You're based in Berlin (or willing to relocate) – our office is our home base
• You speak German and English fluently
