Senior Endpoint & Modern Workplace Engineer – Windows & Apple (m/w/d)

Your Tasks
Part of a small, decision-making IT team
No conglomerate – real responsibility, real impact
You're not a classical IT admin who clicks away tickets. You build standards, simplify complexity, and ensure that devices function reliably, securely, and scalably – for office, logistics, and mobile workforce. While working closely with our Teamlead IT Infrastructure, Cloud & Security as a technical sparring partner with clear ownership for our Endpoint area.

You'll take responsibility for our Modern Workplace Stack:
- Windows & Apple Endpoints
- Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Apple MDM (Jamf)
- Client Security & Lifecycle
The goal is clear: less manual work, clean standards, stable platforms.
Your Area as Senior Endpoint & Modern Workplace Engineer – Windows & Apple (m/w/d):
- You'll take technical responsibility for our Modern Workplace and Endpoint area and develop it so that it functions stably, securely, and scalably – today and in the future.
- You'll design, operate, and develop our Endpoint platform for Windows and Apple continuously (Intune / Endpoint Manager, Jamf, Apple Business Manager).
- You'll establish clear standards for Enrollment, Policies, App-Management, Updates, and Lifecycle – instead of single solutions.
- You'll ensure that On- and Offboarding, Device replacement, and updates are reproducible, documented, and largely automated.
- You'll be responsible for Endpoint Security in close coordination with the Teamlead (Compliance, Hardening, Conditional Access, Device Protection).
- You'll bring Apple MDM knowledge actively into play and ensure that macOS- and iOS-devices are not a special case but part of a clean overall strategy.
- You'll recognize technical and security-relevant risks in the client environment early on and build them down deliberately.
- You'll work as a technical sparring partner for the Teamlead IT Infrastructure, Cloud & Security.
- You'll enable others in the team through reviews, mentoring, and knowledge exchange – instead of isolating knowledge.
- You'll document architecture- and tool-related decisions so that they remain understandable in the long term.

Your Profile
Your Strengths That We Need in Our Team:
Fachlich
- Multiple years of experience in Endpoint Management (Windows and/or Apple)
- Very good knowledge in Intune / Endpoint Manager or deep know-how in Jamf / Apple MDM
- Understanding of Identity-based Concepts (Entra ID / Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access)
- Experience with Client Security and Device Compliance
- Ideal: PowerShell basics or willingness to automate

Onboarding on Site:

Home Office Model:
From the third month on, you'll have the opportunity to work from home one day a week. And after the probation period – i.e., from the 7th month – another day will be added.
You'll regulate the Home Office days in close coordination with your supervisor for an optimal Work-Life Balance.
