solBit GmbH is the software development company of Solvis GmbH from Braunschweig. solBit was founded in 2023 and is responsible for ensuring that the digital products of Solvis GmbH are developed according to all rules of the art for modern software development. Do you want to develop intelligent, connected systems that actively contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability? In this position, you will work on the embedded software of our central heating system controller as well as on our future energy management platform. You will accompany projects from conception to series production and contribute your experience to demanding, hardware-close software development.

Tasks

Development of the embedded software solution for our central heating system controller and the future energy management platform
Participation in the conception, planning, and implementation of software projects in the embedded area
Performing software tests as well as error analysis and correction to ensure product quality Optimization of development tools, CI/CD processes

Qualifications

At least 5 years of proven professional experience
Proficient in using Git
Resource-efficient, object-oriented programming in C on embedded systems
Understanding of technologies such as multithreading, IoT, MQTT, TCP/IP
Hardware understanding: DMA, SPI, USARTs, Timers, Watchdogs
Desirable: Knowledge in control engineering, FreeRTOS, time series databases, Matlab/Simulink
