Aufgaben

• Development and further development of security-critical embedded software in a regulated technical environment
• Concept, analysis, and optimization of security architectures for embedded systems; implementation and securing of security-relevant functions such as authentication-, update- and encryption mechanisms
• Conducting risk and vulnerability analyses based on established security and quality standards
• Implementation of quality assurance measures, including code reviews and automated tests
• Closely working with interdisciplinary teams and coordinating with external stakeholders and project partners

Qualifikation

• Studies in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
• Practical experience in developing hardware-near software for embedded systems
• Familiarity with the programming languages C and C++; knowledge of modern methods of IT and product safety as well as security-oriented development approaches
• Experience in specifying, conceptualizing, and implementing software solutions
• Basic or advanced knowledge of scripting and automation languages such as Python
• Ideal would be experience in quality- or security-critical development environments
• Vantage points with regulatory requirements or technical industry standards are advantageous
• Good communication skills in German and English, as well as a structured and team-oriented work style
