Senior Embedded Software Engineer

£65-80K – Full-time – London/Hybrid IONATE is a deep technology start-up building the technology backbone for smart grids. Our team is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer who will be responsible for developing and implementing real time software, taking concepts through to commercial product for customers. Requiring extensive knowledge and experience in embedded software development, this position will involve working with our hardware and software team. With a focus on real-time embedded systems, you will be expected to work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of embedded software development, including microcontrollers, embedded operating systems, and real-time operating systems. You will be responsible for developing and implementing software for our smart grid products, including smart meters, smart grids, and other IoT devices. This role will also involve working closely with our customers to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality software products and will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of embedded software development and the smart grid industry. The salary for this role will be £65-80K, and the working hours will be full-time. The location for this role will be London/Hybrid, with the option to work from home or in our office.
