Senior Embedded Software Architect Medical Devices Lead

A leading healthcare technology company in Barcelona is looking for an Embedded Software Architect. This role involves making key architectural decisions, working closely with product teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in embedded software development, particularly in regulated industries like medical and automotive. You'll be part of an innovative team dedicated to improving lives through advanced healthcare solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the architecture of our medical devices, ensuring that they meet the necessary regulatory requirements. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams, such as hardware engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing. Additionally, you'll be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in embedded software development, and contribute to the development of new technologies and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical device regulations, including FDA guidelines and ISO 13485:2016. You should also have experience working with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
