You will mainly work at Liège Airport, with your training and part of the work taking place at Brussels Airport. Do you live in the region of Leuven – Tienen – Landen – Sint-Truiden? Then you are ideally located.

Job Description
As a Senior Electrical Mechanic for Motive Equipment, you are responsible for the correct functioning of the electrical systems on various airport vehicles. Thanks to your expertise, these machines remain safe and operational.

Your tasks:
Maintain, repair, and service electrical systems on motorized airport equipment
Analyze and resolve electrical and electronic faults
Install and test electrical systems according to current safety standards
Diagnose complex electrical systems, including high-voltage
Support and train fellow technicians in troubleshooting
Document performed work and support technical reporting
Maintain equipment and tools
Prepare vehicles for rental or operational use
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical colleagues within the workshopProfileWho are you?
A technically strong electrical mechanic with a sense of responsibility and an eye for safety.

You meet this profile:
You have a degree in electricity, electronics, industrial electromechanics, or mechatronics
You have extensive experience in electrical repairs; knowledge of high-voltage is a big plus
You can read electrical diagrams and make technical diagnoses
You work accurately, independently, and are solution-oriented
You speak English well (this is more important than Dutch or French)
You have a B driver's license
You can obtain an airport badge and an airside driving permit
You are willing to travel to Brussels Airport regularly
You start with day shifts, but are willing to do night shifts later on

Hourly wage of €16 gross per hour
Meal vouchers of €8 per working day
