Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer Department: Engineering and Design Reports To: General Manager Engineering and Design and Project Manager Experience Required: 3-5 years Location: Pune Job Summary: The Senior Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and coordination of electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects. This includes power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and related systems from concept to completion. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electrical system design, and project management. Key responsibilities include: • Designing and developing electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery. • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration. • Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members and other stakeholders as needed. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering. • Collaborating with the Project Manager to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards. • Participating in design reviews and providing input on design decisions. • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and reports. • Providing support for testing and commissioning of electrical systems. • Collaborating with the General Manager Engineering and Design to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
