Senior Dot Net Developer

Primary Title: Senior .NET Developer

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+) to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Build and optimise data access layers with Entity Framework/EF Core and SQL Server; author efficient T‑SQL and data migration scripts.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs, integrate third-party services, and ensure secure authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth/JWT).
• Deliver production-ready microservices packaged as containers (Docker) and participate in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile ceremonies; drive code reviews, automation, and observability best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers, troubleshoot performance/scale issues, and contribute to architecture and engineering-excellence standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4+ years of professional experience developing web applications with C# and .NET (Core/.NET 6+).
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework / EF Core, and SQL Server.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs, authentication patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Hands-on with Docker & container workflows, and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Practical knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and Git-based workflows.
• Comfortable working on-site in India and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Preferred

• Experience building microservices architectures, event-driven designs, or using messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) — App Services, Functions, Managed Databases, and monitoring tools.
• Exposure to Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), performance tuning, and distributed tracing/observability (App Insights, Prometheus).
