Our control center ensures the smooth operation of the FlixTrain network by coordinating vehicles and personnel and making operational decisions. As a Senior Dispatcher, your actions will ensure stability, punctuality, and customer satisfaction in long-distance transport. You will work with modern dispatching and communication systems, as well as a strong team of experienced colleagues.

About the Role

• Coordination of vehicles and driving personnel in daily rail operations
• Making operational decisions in case of disruptions, delays, and special situations
• Documentation of incidents and communication with management and operational levels
• Active passenger information and organization of replacement transport in case of deviations
• Work in a regulated shift system (24/7) as part of a team
• Responsibility for quality and safety in operational processes
• Mentoring and supporting new colleagues during onboarding

About You

• Completed vocational training
• Fluent German skills (minimum C1)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in dispatching, railway operations, or traffic control
• Resilience, decisiveness, and assertiveness
• Structured, solution-oriented approach to work
• Team spirit and strong communication skills in dealing with colleagues and train personnel
• Proficient in using PC, email, and Office programs
• Knowledge of working time regulations
• Willingness to work shifts (including night, weekend, and public holiday work)
