Our control center ensures smooth rail operations in the FlixTrain network by coordinating vehicles and personnel and making operational decisions. As Senior Disponent:in, you ensure stability, punctuality, and customer satisfaction in long-distance traffic. You work with modern dispatch and communication systems as well as a strong team of experienced colleagues.

About the Role

• Coordination of vehicles and personnel in daily rail operations
• Making operational decisions in case of disruptions, delays, and special situations
• Documented events and communication with management and operations level
• Active passenger information and organization of replacement transportation in deviations
• Work in a regular shift schedule (24/7) as part of a team
• Responsibility for quality and safety in the operational flow
• Mentoring and supporting new colleagues during onboarding

About You

• Completed vocational training
• Floated German language skills (at least C1)
• At least 1 year of experience in dispatch, rail operations or traffic control
• Ability to withstand stress, make decisions and assert oneself
• Structured, solution-oriented work style
• Team spirit and communication strength when dealing with colleagues and train staff
• Safe handling of PC, email and office programs
• Knowledge of labor laws
• Readiness for shift work (including night, weekend and holiday shifts)
