Our dispatch center ensures the smooth operation of the FlixTrain network by coordinating vehicles and personnel and making operational decisions. As a Senior Dispatcher:in, you ensure stability, punctuality, and customer satisfaction in long-distance traffic. You work with modern dispatch and communication systems and a strong team of experienced colleagues.

About the Role

• Coordination of vehicles and personnel in daily train operation
• Making operational decisions in case of disruptions, delays, and special situations
• Documentation of incidents and communication with management and operations level
• Active passenger information and organization of replacement transportation in case of deviations
• Work in a regular shift schedule (24/7) as part of a team
• Responsibility for quality and safety in the operational flow
• Mentoring and supporting new colleagues during onboarding

About You

• Completed vocational training
• Fluent German language skills (at least C1)
• At least 1 year of experience in dispatch, rail operations, or traffic management
• Ability to work under pressure, make decisions, and assert oneself
• Structured, solution-oriented work style
• Team spirit and communication strength in dealing with colleagues and train staff
• Safe handling of PC, email, and office software
• Knowledge of labor laws
• Willingness to work a shift schedule (including night, weekend, and holiday shifts)
