Senior Director, Issuer Regulation & Strategy

A leading financial services organization in South Africa is seeking an experienced professional to lead Issuer Regulation Strategy. This role involves managing a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with listings requirements, and developing innovative solutions aligned with international best practices. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, deep regulatory knowledge, and significant experience in Issuer Regulation Corporate Finance. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the Issuer Regulation team, providing guidance and support. * Oversee the development and implementation of regulatory strategies. * Ensure compliance with all relevant listings requirements. * Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and industry participants. * Identify and assess regulatory risks. * Develop and implement solutions to address regulatory challenges. * Contribute to the development of the organization's strategic objectives. Qualifications: * A Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in Issuer Regulation or Corporate Finance. * Strong understanding of listings requirements and regulations. * Proven leadership and management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
