Senior Director Delivery (Mining - Business Digital Transformation )

Role Brief The Senior Director - Delivery for Mining Business Digital Transformation & Global Delivery is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of large-scale digital transformation programs in the mining domain. This role serves as the nexus between customer engagement, technical delivery, P&L management, and talent leadership. The incumbent will drive the adoption of Data, AI/ML, and automation technologies across mining operations from exploration and ore processing to production and supply chain management. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and executing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy for the mining industry, aligned with business objectives and customer needs. • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale digital transformation programs, ensuring successful project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction. • Collaborating with customers to understand their business requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet their needs. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams. • Developing and managing budgets for digital transformation initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources. • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with large-scale digital transformation programs. • Fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the organization. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital transformation, and applying this knowledge to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have: • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering). • At least 10 years of experience in the mining industry, with a focus on digital transformation, technology adoption, or innovation. • Proven track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation programs, with a strong understanding of customer needs and business objectives. • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and stakeholders. • Experience working with Data, AI/ML, and automation technologies is an asset.
