You will design and be responsible for the technical foundation that makes our platform reliable, secure, and scalable.

• Hybrid Infrastructure: You will further develop our environment of cloud and on-prem systems and ensure stability, performance, and scalability.

• Automation First: You will reduce manual interventions through clean scripts, standards, and self-service solutions for our teams.

• Stable Operation: You will strengthen the reliability of our platform through better monitoring, more observability, and structured incident management.

• Sustainable Solutions: You will get to the bottom of problems (Root Cause Analysis) to solve them permanently, rather than just treating symptoms.

• Security by Design: You will embed security as a standard in daily operations through hardening, patch management, and traceable access concepts.

• Pragmatic AI Deployment: You will strategically integrate AI and agents into operations to accelerate analyses, support during incidents, and automate recurring tasks.

• Strong Foundation: You have several years of relevant experience in DevOps, system administration, infrastructure, or platform engineering, ideally in the SaaS or e-commerce environment.

• Tech Stack: You are at home in hybrid environments, have practical experience with AWS or Azure, and are proficient in the secure operation of on-prem systems (Linux, networks).

• Automation-first: You live and breathe automation and have excellent scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible).

• AI Mindset: You strategically use AI for tasks such as analysis, scripting, or incident support, and clearly assess the difference between benefit and risk.

• Ownership: You are hands-on, take responsibility, and proactively drive your topics independently and with foresight to success.

• Analytical Strength and Problem Solving: You find the signal in the noise, solve complex problems systematically, and strive to make things more robust in the long term rather than patching them up in the short term.

• Strong Communication: You are fluent in German and English and can explain complex technical topics simply.

• ... you are knowledgeable about monitoring, backup/restore, and/or security hardening in the age of AI.
• ... you have already gained experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, or containerized workloads.
• ... you have already worked on API-first or highly integration-driven platforms.
• ... you have already set up internal copilots, ops agents, or tool-using workflows with clear guardrails.
