(Senior) DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

We develop AI-supported e-commerce platforms for B2B customers and are looking for you as a reinforcement for our team!

Aufgaben

In this role, you connect fundamental programming knowledge with modern system administration and act as the central interface between software development and IT operations. You take responsibility for the following tasks:

• Optimization and automation of development and operation processes
• Automation and ensuring scalability of applications
• Building and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to improve our processes and software
• Management of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Automation of deployments and infrastructure with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi
• Monitoring and logging (e.g., with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) or cloud-based observability platforms like NewRelic
• Collaboration with developers to optimize software deployment
• Development of self-services for automating processes in an existing cloud environment
• Provisioning of self-services for users of a platform in the cloud

Qualifikation

In addition to a completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field, you should already have some professional experience and bring the following knowledge and skills:

• Knowledge in cloud computing, preferably Azure
• Experiences with automation using various scripting languages
• Configuration and deployment of containerized applications and their orchestration in Kubernetes
• Basic understanding of monitoring software
• Understanding of network architectures, firewalls, etc.

If you also bring along one or two experiences

• In software development with Java and in software operation
• In SRE practices (Site Reliability Engineering)
