(Senior) DevOps Engineer (F/M/*)

We are looking for a (Senior) DevOps Engineer who brings the passion and expertise to further develop our platform to be even more stable and scalable.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the automation of our product and our setup processes to reduce manual workload at amber

• You work closely with our development team to optimize daily deployments of new software versions and the resolution of technical issues

• You conceptualize, implement, and document the improvement of our security measures for our customers as well as for external audits

• You scale deployments for dozens of customers, including large databases, container orchestration, and cloud-native tools

• You always keep an eye on our incident response, work on root cause analysis and the recovery of our services to ensure minimal downtime

• You set up and maintain a robust monitoring and alerting solution to proactively identify and resolve issues within our platform

   

Qualifications

• You have gained professional experience with Linux-based systems (Windows Server is a plus)

• You are familiar with deploying and managing workloads across multiple cloud providers

• You have practical experience with K8s management, container orchestration, and related cloud-native technologies

• You have a strong understanding of development and operations cycles, including CI/CD pipelines

• You are familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform)

• You have experience managing data streams with tools like Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus

• You communicate confidently and assertively - in German and English - with various stakeholders

• You reliably complete tasks and take end-to-end ownership

• You have basic programming skills and are comfortable with Java or Python (experience with Rust or Go is a plus)
