Senior DevOps Engineer Location: Warsaw (1 day per week onsite) Contract: B2B Duration: Project secured through 2028 About the Role We are supporting a leading global financial institution in hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a long term infrastructure and platform engineering programme. This role focuses on automation, CI/CD, Linux administration, container platforms, infrastructure support, and environment management within a complex enterprise environment. You will work closely with Development, Infrastructure, and Support teams to improve application reliability, deployment processes, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities * Support and maintain business critical applications across enterprise infrastructure environments. * Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. * Develop automation solutions using Bash, Python and Groovy. * Manage development, test and production environments. * Support containerised applications running on Kubernetes and OpenShift. * Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible. * Investigate application and infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis. * Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment, monitoring and operational processes. Requirements Essential * Strong Linux administration experience. * Commercial experience with Kubernetes. * Experience containerising applications using Docker or Podman. * Hands on experience with Ansible. * Strong Bash scripting skills. * Python scripting experience. * Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience. * Git version control. * Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments. * Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Nice to Have * OpenShift experience. * AWS or Azure cloud exposure. * Artifactory or Nexus. * PostgreSQL experience. * Financial Services, Banking or Capital Markets experience.
