Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure & Kubernetes)

Freelance | 6–12 months | Full-time | Remote (Italy-based) We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a long-term freelance project focused on cloud infrastructure and DevOps transformation within a structured enterprise environment. This is a full-time remote collaboration (Italy-based), with immediate start. Key Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure Manage and optimize Kubernetes (AKS) clusters in production Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins Automate testing and deployment processes using Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into the cloud environment Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, AKS clusters, and CI/CD pipelines Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and AKS clusters Requirements 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, preferably with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, security, and compliance Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash Certification in AWS or Azure is a plus, but not required Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Competitive freelance rate Flexible working hours and remote work arrangement Opportunities for professional growth and development with a leading company
