Job description
For our Client from the media and entertainment industry, we are looking for a specialist for a multi-year system migration project in an on-premise to AWS architecture. We are looking for a specialist who will support the team in application migration and its development, as well as the maintenance of cloud environments and CI/CD process automation. About the project 100% remote B2B Join a dynamic team in the modern media industry. We are implementing a new, ambitious project involving the migration of key system components and the development of a modern cloud architecture. We are creating an ecosystem where development meets an advanced DevOps approach (GitOps). Your scope of responsibilities Development and Migration Cloud and Infrastructure: Building and maintaining stable environments based on AWS. Infrastructure as Code: Managing resources using the Terraform tool. Automation and GitOps: Designing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and managing deployments using Argo CD. Orchestration: Creating and optimizing Kubernetes (K8s) clusters. Data Streaming: Working with data queuing and streaming systems based on Kafka. Quality Assurance: Conducting thorough Code Reviews and ensuring code cleanliness and technical documentation. Requirements/Competencies: AWS – experience working with Amazon Web Services cloud services; Experience in migration projects to AWS environment (will be a big asset); Terraform – ability to build and maintain infrastructure as code; Practical knowledge of GitOps and deployment management, Argo CD is welcome. Kubernetes – experience in creating and maintaining K8s clusters (one of the tasks will be to configure K8s clusters on AWS from scratch and migrate all business logic); Kafka – knowledge of data queuing and streaming systems; GitLab – working with CI/CD pipelines and code repositories; PostgreSQL – good knowledge of database administration and optimization; Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum / Agile) will be an additional asset; Knowledge of English enabling reading documentation and communication within an international team.
