Senior DevOps Engineer AWS

We are expanding our competencies and services in the area of DevOps, therefore we are looking for an experienced person to strengthen our team and help us develop modern cloud solutions based on AWS. This is a role for someone who perfectly understands the AWS ecosystem, can effectively optimize cloud environment costs, combining technical, operational, and financial aspects of cloud management, and also sees the potential of using AI solutions in modern cloud environments. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure based on AWS, with a particular emphasis on FinOps practices and process automation using AI. You will participate in the implementation of cloud projects and the development of services that are a significant part of our portfolio. We are looking for you if: you have at least 5 years of experience in the IT industry, including in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, you have practical experience working with AWS, you know and use CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), you have experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, you have a very good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and issues related to containerization, you have practical experience in observability, you can create automation scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell, you have experience in Cloud Cost Optimization and FinOps, including monitoring, analysis, and optimization of cloud environment costs, you use Generative AI solutions in your daily work, process automation, software development, or architectural decision-making, you understand issues related to cloud security, reliability, and scalability, you communicate in English at a minimum B2 level, both spoken and written. Nice to have: experience working with other clouds (AWS, GCP), programming experience. In this position, you will be responsible for: implementing DevOps Practices, i.e., DevOps Culture, CI/CD, IaC, Observability, Scalability, Automation, SRE, and FinOps, designing and developing cloud platform architectures in AWS, optimizing cloud environment costs, creating or expanding environments on which the software developed by the team runs, cooperating with development teams in designing and implementing solutions, building and maintaining tools for automating the software development process in all its phases, ensuring an appropriate balance between a high level of security and the convenience and flexibility of the team's work, preparing documentation, whereby thanks to the Infrastructure as Code approach, documentation will be naturally supported by code and automation, automating processes using AI, cooperating within the DevOps community for knowledge exchange.
