SENIOR R-SHINY AND REACT DEVELOPER (M/W/D)

Aufgaben

You bring all the threads together when it comes to developing our R-Shiny applications. You also take care of integrating our React components and developing new ones.

This way, you elevate our software to the next level, create new, appealing surfaces, and design a positive user experience for our customers.

THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY:

• Design and development of R-Shiny and React applications
• Conceptualization and implementation of frontends in Shiny and React
• Designing dashboards and data visualizations
• Further development and optimization of software surfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Optimization of frontend architecture regarding performance, security, and user experience
• Testing and introduction of suitable R- and JS-libraries
• Growth and maintenance of our React-component library
• Dokumentation, maintenance, and quality control of the code
• Tight cooperation and coordination with our development team

Qualification

This is what convinces us:

• A relevant vocational training in the field of computer science, business informatics, media informatics, and/or information technology
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a corresponding position
• Very good knowledge of R and R-Shiny
• Very good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Very good knowledge of React, as well as experience with TypeScript and Vite
• Experience with Figma and the implementation of design systems
• Knowledge in data visualization (e.g., with plotly, D3.js)
• Experiences in working with Git and CI/CD processes
• Passion for working with data and designing appealing data visualizations
• Good analytical skills and structured work approach
• Passion for high software quality and excellent UX
• Strong communication skills in German and English
