Senior Developer - Deputy Manager

This team operates within a sophisticated suite of software to support projects from land origination, through construction, and into operation. We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our team as Deputy Manager. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications supporting our solar, battery storage, and hybrid systems projects. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading the development of software applications using Java, Python, or C++ programming languages. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications in accordance with industry standards and best practices. • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the solar, battery storage, and hybrid systems industries. • Participating in code reviews and ensuring that all code is well-documented, tested, and meets our quality standards. • Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of software applications into our overall system architecture. • Developing and maintaining technical documentation for software applications. • Troubleshooting and resolving software application issues in a timely and efficient manner. • Participating in the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. • Collaborating with other teams to ensure that software applications meet customer requirements and expectations. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • 5+ years of experience as a software developer with a focus on Java, Python, or C++ programming languages. • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies. • Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Certifications: • None required, but certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer are desirable.
