To grow further, we are looking for a Senior Designer:in, who connects Brand, UX/UI and Art Direction – and our Creative Director operationally and conceptually relieved.

Your role with us

As Senior Designer:in, you are the visual quality assurance, the creative sparring partner and at the same time a person who delivers high-level operations. You work closely with our Creative Director, our experienced Junior Designer and external partners, bringing brand leadership, processes and output forward.

Note on collaboration:
We work hybrid. With a full-time position, we expect at least two days per week presence in the office in Freiburg am Neckar, as close coordination, joint creative work in the design team and collaborative work with other departments are essential for this role.

Aufgaben

Brand Design

• You develop our corporate design further – structured, clean, functional.
• You build design systems, templates and guidelines that make the team work faster and better.
• You ensure a clear, consistent brand impact across all channels.

Art Direction

• Development and direction of visual concepts (photo, video, key visuals, product staging)
• Planning & coordination of shootings (no operational photography needed, but good eye and leadership skills)
• Selection & quality control of image material and visual assets
• You are a sparring partner for Marketing, Product Management, E-Com, Sales

UX/UI & Digital

• You design interfaces for Web & App that function intuitively and visually precisely
• You work modularly, systematically, and contribute to the further development of our digital design library
• You think in user flows, clarity, and practical application

Operative Design

• You set assets yourself – from product communication to Web visuals to Social & Amazon.
• You bring structure to processes, give standards and support the build-up of a strong in-house design team.
• You relieve the Creative Director on operational topics and take responsibility for partial areas.

Qualification

What you bring with you Must-haves

• 5+ years of experience in Brand-, Visual- or Digital Design
• Excellent typography and layout skills and a secure visual judgment
• Very good understanding of UX/UI and digital design systems
• Experience in Art Direction for photo/video (concept + direction)
• Familiarity with common tools (e.g. Adobe CC, Figma)
• Safe handling of AI-supported tools (e.g. Nano Banana, Midjourney, ChatGPT)
• Able to quickly grasp complex technical topics and make them visually understandable
• High quality standards & structured work
• Eigenständige Priorisierung und sichere Projektverantwortung

Nice-to-have

• Basic knowledge of motion or video editing
• Experience with technical products or explainable products
• Understanding of performance marketing formats
