As a Senior Design Engineer at Benchmark, you will have ample opportunity to further develop yourself within the field of Electrical Engineering. You will be part of a multidisciplinary project team and work in an international environment on the development of complex products. Within the team, you will contribute to the architecture and design of the total system and underlying subsystems.
Within the team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and verification of complex digital electronics. You will make a substantial contribution to the project and ensure the technical quality of your designs.
What are your responsibilities, among others?
Designing, simulating, implementing, and verifying digital circuits, in close collaboration with disciplines such as mechanics and embedded software.
Acting as a technical point of contact for engineers from our clients within your field.
Realizing designs that meet requirements in the areas of EMC, testability, reliability, and manufacturability.
Specifying and documenting circuits and determining the necessary tests.
Preparing planning estimates and reporting on technical progress to the project leader.
Daily substantive management and guidance of one or more junior engineers.
You will play a key role within project teams and be hands-on involved in the detailed design, realization, and verification of one or more subsystems. As a specialist in digital electronics, you have a good understanding of what is technically feasible with the latest technologies. You actively think along with customer requirements and advise on technical possibilities and limitations.
From your expertise, you will provide substantive advice and contribute to making well-founded technical choices within the project.

Furthermore, we consider the following important:
A completed BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
Demonstrated experience with CPLDs, FPGAs, processors, and controllers.
