Job description
We are looking for reinforcement in accounting for our client at the Düsseldorf location. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours).
Responsibilities
- You are the right hand of the current team lead and actively support them.
- Proper booking of provisions, deferrals, and current depreciation on a monthly basis.
- Operational accounts receivable accounting including the execution and optimization of the dunning process as well as the clarification of payment differences.
- Maintaining OPOS lists and weekly reporting of open items.
- Preparation and evaluation of business analyses.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed training as a tax assistant (m/f/d) or a sound commercial apprenticeship (e.g., industrial clerk) with corresponding experience or targeted, qualified further training as a financial accountant (Chamber of Industry and Commerce).
- Relevant, several years of practical experience in accounting.
A sound, confident, and practically tested use of DATEV (e.g., KanzleiRechnungswesen or similar) in daily application is mandatory. - Very good MS Office skills, especially advanced knowledge of Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
- A healthy level of assertiveness combined with strong empathy and tact in customer contact (dunning process).
- Fluent German language skills in speaking and writing at a native level.
